Default Xrt1500 white smoke and gas in oil

I have a 05 Xrt1500 that has oil in the fuel and is smoking. I did a compression check with it running both sides are about the same 140 psi. The crankcase vent hose is really oily and is puffing white smoke kinda. It randomly loses power, then puffs white smoke, but sometimes runs awesome. I am lost to what is can be. I did check the spark on each side, looks good to me. The oil smells like gas.
Ideas?

This is a 4 stoke air cooled engine, correct?

I've seen lawnmowers do something similar to what you describe because there is too much oil in the crankcase. Is your oil level overfilled?

Yes it is 4 stroke and is air cooled. I just got the unit but it was full on oil but now is above full. It's just wierd how it runs goid but then will smoke like it's trying to kill all of the mosquitos in Kentucky lol

I've done the same thing. If you overfill them, that is what happens. Drain some oil and try that.

Check that your float (s) aren't stuck in the carbs... This can allow gas to overflow and get into into the crankcase and dilute the oil. It will also cause the smoke... and get rid of that oil asap! especially if it is in fact gas tainted. The bearings don't likey gassy oil just something to check. I had it happen to me on a 2 cyl mower engine and ended up installing a fuel shutoff as well even after fixing the float just to insure that during the off times that gas couldn't get to the carb unless I wanted it to during running in case the floats stuck again. Also to be on the safe side after you replace the oil, change it again after an hour or so. You really don't want to be running gassy oil.

Well, I changed the oil and nothing changed so I tore down the driver side cylinder head off. The cylinder was egg shaped so I believe that is where all the gas is getting into the oil via blow by. I did also check the valves before I tore into the motor. So being that the cylinder is part of the block. I am wondering what my options are. Should I just get a new block and swap everything or just get a new motor.

If the cylinder is that bad worn out that you can see it's egg shaped then I would assume everything else is pretty much worn out.
