Would like to locate vin or serial number on my Taylor Dunn.
My cart is rom the 1970's? I dont know where to find the number that could nail down its exact age

Here is some information copied from an older post by @Rusty. I just did the search for you. He deserves the credit for the information. I know Cushman better, but once built an in plant fire truck from a TD 3 wheel burden carrier. Charley Where to find TD serial and model numbers - serial number or model number location?? They are different. Is your cart metal or plastic? Plastic, the number is inside the passenger glovebox. Metal (newer) are on the kick panel on the passenger side, left kick panel. Metal (older) under the drivers seat. All on ID plates. |

Thank you Charley. I read that as well, problem is the underside of the seat has been replaced. No numbers��

From other sites and just rom the act that TD didn't make golf carts vey long, I have sumized it is between 1974 to 1976. I do t know anything about its interior components. I just know it is built totally different than any golf carts I've seen here. I want to sell it but do t know enough to describe it. Do you know or know where I can educate myself

You can go to vintagegolfcartparts and they have a brief history, bin #'s and wiring diagrams. You can also just do a search photos of Taylor carts and find a photo to match up to what you have.
