Default idea for making my own head gasket for a 8.5hp suzuki

i have a hyundai with the pile of junk 8.5 hp suzuki motor, head gasket is leaking but motor does run so i'm gonna try to save it.. i have looked everywhere an no luck on finding any head gaskets at all!!!! can't even find info on these motor other then everyone saying they are junk lol.... well here's what i am going to try, gonna get a pie pan or roasting pan (the throw away kind at walmart thats kinda thick aluminum) an i'm gonna try making my own head gasket. anyone think this will work or am i just wasting my time? if nothing else it's worth a try an if it fails then plan B is to get another motor an put in it.

No joke.....soda or beer cans. Cut the tops and bottoms off, slice the side lengthwise, roll it out and flatten it, cut your gasket.

Copper flashing works well so long as both mating surfaces are true. Gotta watch clearances though such as: squish band for two stroke or valve clearance for four stroke.

Copper is good. There is a guy on ebay that makes copper gaskets

If that motor hasn't been run in while it's completely normal for the old, residual oil to burn off. There's a good chance that will clear out after you run that thing for awhile. Don't monkey with it unless the problem persists after a couple of hours of use.
