Where does this disconnected cable go?
I recently acquired a Hyundai gas cart which had the engine replaced and works fine. However today, I found a cable attached to an arm at the top of the differential which is disconnected at the other end. It also appears to be missing a tension spring or some sort of link that runs between the fixed flange and the torsion spring on the arm.
What does this cable attach to, and what attaches to the torsion spring on the arm? Can you guys help me out here, this is my first golf cart and I don't even know what that arm does on the top of the dif. The cart works fine in both forward and reverse. Tony P.S. I can't post a pic since I haven't been a member here for more than 7 days. |

Re: Where does this disconnected cable go?
Off the top of my head I'd guess it was the governor for the original engine. Wouldn't be hooked to anything now because of the engine swap.
