The Mongrel has a sister
Yeah, I did it again ........ I picked up another Hyundai Friday
Heck, I needed something to put all the peices I pulled off of the Mongrel onto........ besides, now I have a near to bone stock model to see how all of this is supposed to go back together, not that it will. The engine, the 8.5 Suzuki had been grenaded (imagine that) and a 13HP Honda is going back into the hole that Suzuki is coming out. Probably be pushing a set of 10X20 turf-tires and yes some paint ...... one day. I'm thinking about setting it up as a Carryall-Clone |

Progress on the new Hyundai ...... the Mongrel's sister
Being the first time I've been able to piddle around the yard since April 10th (shoulder surgery is some serious sh*t)...... anyway, I messed with the other Hyundai (the Mongrel's sister) a little bit today ...... Pulled the rear-body off, put the tires on and halfway figured what I needed to do with the semi-lift.
Thats the 13 hp Honda in the background that will be pushing this jewel .... Rear end with the axles flipped ... Still can't figure out which rear-end the previous owner replaced the original with, and this is where you guys come in....... look at these last two pic if y'all would and see if you recognize the pumpkin on this rear-end. It's not a Hyundai. I think maybe a Yamaha (look at the shifter shaft) .......the governor, and the eyelets where the cables feed through on to the shifting linkage ........... thanks in advance |

Re: The Mongrel has a sister
Thanks to both you and Dirty ......... I'd like to find a shift lever to work like the one on a Club Car ............ like the one Richie fabbed up for his marathon .......
Unless I can find an original one to fit that. How about it ..... You have any levers for a yamaha in your stash-pile? |
