I installed new rings and gained a lot of power but my rings were worn out and only had 65# compression. I would find out why you have poor performance then take remedial action.

I think the compression is good. I know that would be perfect on the older carts but I'm not sure on the late model engine. You might check timing.

If the HD muffler is a lot bigger you may not have the back pressure you need on a 2 cycle.

It will be to big and tuned for to high a rpm, you could put a smaller stinger in it and shorten the head pipe and try it.

Someone could have moved the timing adjuatment. Just because it is electronic dous not mean it is not adjustable!
