Default New project Cushman haulster with efi Suzuki

Okay I just drug 2 of these haulsters home. Ones pretty ruff other will make a decent one. Well one is missing engine controller. Other one with ec hit on starting fluid. No pressure on rail and was told they thought it had a bad engine controller. Hopefully they diagnosed it wrong. So maybe tommrow I will get my test light and see if fuel pump has 12v. Checked fuses and good .If engine controller is bad a new one is 1200 . If it is bad I might try a ecm rebuilding place or computer place. Just seeing anyone had any expirance with these. There old college carts. Been sitting year or so. Gave 200 for both so maybe I can part out if to much make one good one.

Have you tried getting on from a Suzuki Dealer? Maybe a junk yard with a wrecked Suzuki car with the same engine might be a source. It isn't a Cushman part. It goes with the engine, so I'm thinking that one of these sources might be able to help you. Another possible source is www.directparts.com. Getting two of them for only $200 was a fantastic deal. I'm sure there's a way to get them running. It just takes some dedicated searching.

Please let us know if you get your EFI module fixed or where you find a new one. Others are always coming here looking for parts and information like this can be of great help to them. I own an 87 Truckster that I have restored and I went through great pains finding sources for what I needed. I have since been able to help many with the knowledge that I acquired while finding parts for my Truckster.
