Westmont 3-wheeler - Any information
So, here's the buggy I'm working on:
I've never seen anything like it before and haven't had much luck finding anything on the internet about it - I don't even know what model it is. Does anyone here have one like it/similar or know where I can find any manuals about it? It's got a Kohler L160 water-cooled engine in it I believe. I did a search and that just pulled up a generally useless thread from a year ago. My first goal is just to get it running and go from there. |

Near as I can tell, it is from the early 60's. I don't have plans for it other than to drive it.

Re: Westmont 3-wheeler - Any information
Hi, I just joined today. I also have a Westmont golf Buggy I want to restore. I have had this for 25 years and had it running. It has a 4 cylinder Hercules Engine, 3 speed transmission with reverse. I had it up to 45 mph. Everything is original. I have a stripped gear and need to re-build the centrifugal clutch, butch not much else needs to be done. I think this is around a 1955 but am looking for more info. Here are some pictures I just took.

Wow. Another Westmont...that's certainly very cool.
I got mine running, mechanically everything works fine. However, I am now in search of a parts manual for a Kohler L160 liquid cooled engine and have had no luck finding one. Anyone got any information on them? |

Yes, another Westmont! Not too many made. My cousin is going to give me a site he found. It seems the guy in Madison made these carts from 1959 to 1963. As soon as I get this I will post it.
