Cushman Cart Issue

I got a cushman haulster 2002 3 wheel model i got in a trade from a guy with a equipment/paving company. Owner said his guys had it ready to go said runs great said it had a gas line leaking and needed tires. Said take it for a spin road down road ran well loaded on trailer got home unloaded replaced tires and drove a couple houses down it died. Started back up ran back to driveway acted as it wanted to die again. Anyway i replaced fuel line that was cracked and when wife got home today she wanted to ride it in. Being night time i went out went to start turned key on and to my surprise it had the same glow plug symbol my f250 ford has so i suspect its diesel. I opened seat to expose motor and did not see a distributor or spark plus so i think it has glow plug. Know i nknow i need to drain all the gas and add diesel anything else i need to check on. I am calling the guy i got it from in the morning hope it did not mess the motor up
