It looks like you have enough of the straight shaft to have a sleeve made to up size to most clutches. There are clutches available with straight shafts with keyways, or tapered shafts. But I'm not sure they are small enough for your shaft. Most arte in the 1 to 1 3/16 " range. Her is a site that has clutches for 3/4" shafts, probably have to cut off your taper.www.affordablegokarts.com

We do have a adapter to run a standard cart clutch on a 1" straight shaft. Crank must be cut off shorter and retapped.

I never really measured the diameter of the crank with a micrometer I eyeballed it. If I cut off the taper will i have enough of the straight shaft to put a 1" clutch? Do I need to machine a key way for the clutch and what size do i need to tap the end of the c/s? Thanks for the info but this is all new to me.
