Question flooring question

I'm debating between diamond plate aluminum or rubber flooring. Diamond plate would look good, especially b/c i'm trimming the sides with it. Rubber flooring would dampen sound and shoes wouldn't be noisy against it as a metal floor would be. Diamond plate rubber would be nice, but I need something soon. Walmart sells rubber floor matting in automotive by the large roll.
Any thoughts on the pros and cons?
Thanks.

I like the look of diamond plate but have heard ppl talk about sunlight reflecting in your eyes from the floor. I would go with rubber for that reason.

Good point. I didn't think of that. Between noise from shoes on metal (wife with sandals and pumps, no doubt) and glare, how relaxing would that be?

Im working on an 88 par car and had the thought of paint on bedliner. People do it with jeeps and what not all the time. Anybody got thoughts on it?

I like the paint on bed liner and will do mine when I redo the rear section! I tried the aluminum plate but on my tractor as a cover. Had to take it off until I find some insulator
That plate like to have cooked me during the summer heat.
