Default HELP my cart is SOO SLOW! WHY?

Looking for any help i can get. My carts current top speed is maybe 13MPH. Attached is a picture of my cart (RED) and a cart that has the exact same rear end set up as mine (green) but i have a 16hp Vanguard v-twin in my cart. Any suggestions as to why my cart is soo darn slow? Is it possible that the rear end gearing is the issue (its a TUFF TORQ KT30 with identical driven clutch as shown on the green cart). Right now im looking for any way i can to speed this thing up. I'll post pictures of my engine bay tomorrow. Thanks.

Here are some pictures of my cart's CVT setup. Any suggestions as to why my cart is soo darn slow would be appreciated. I know my engine is running up to 3,600 rpm before the gov. kicks in so i know RPM is not an issue. Thanks again.

If you can see the belts while running it,(or place it on jack stands) at max speed the belt should be at top of the drive pulley and at the bottom of the driven. My origanal Salsbury clutch on my buggy had six springs in it with half of them broken causeing it to engage at low rpms and causing poor performance. After replacing the springs I got better bottom end and more top speed.

You need to remember that this is an Industral Truck. It's made for pulling, hauling and creeping around warehouses. It was not setup for speed. If you want to go fast your gonna need to invest some money. Rev kit, taller gears,.....etc. Speed=Money, how fast you want to go?

The belt IS at the top of the drive pulley when cruising at top speed. However I'm not sure the driven pulley is engaging all the way when cruising, is there any way by hand i can fully compress the driven pulley to see how wide it's supposed to open up at top speed? I'm wondering if i need to install a shorter belt to get the rear (driven pulley) to engage all the way. Thanks.

old trick on cvt's to check how high the belt is going up the drive clutch is to take belt off and use a permanent black marker and mark up and down the sheaves and then go ride around wide open and see if clutch pushing belt up high enough or not.

Does my belt look too loose to you? Im not even sure where to find the same belt, I've searched everywhere online and cannot find the identical belt. However as for the speed issue i'm just going to drive it until snow starts falling and ill put it in the shop and start investigating. Plan on putting 25 or 26" tall tires on so that should help the speed a little bit. Thanks for your help.
