slow speed forward
I have a 1986 2 stroke with a 244cc engine (2pg) has little power going forward has good power in reverse. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the double post

I have the same problem, good speed in reverse, slow to almost nothing going jup hills. I have a 2 stroke engine

I had that problem on an old Harley 2 stroke motor in a golf cart. It seemed to be the contact points cam more worn on the forward side. In reverse it ran great and no power in forward. I tried soldering on the cam lobe to build it back to original, but its not too complicated to change the cam plate out. I bet this fixes your problem
