got my GC 400 going today!
After hunting for some carb parts for my gc 400 I got it running. It has sit in a barn 20 years or more. I went to a friend who is big time into wheelhorse tractors. He give me a carb off a wheelhorse that uses the same k241 motor. So i took the two and made one good carb. After some fine tuning on adjustment screws the 10 horse kohler purrs like a kitten. Tomorrow I am going to change oil, new plug pull motor cover clean all the cooling fins on head. A complete tune up. I will snap some pics tommrow. I see the differential/ transmission has a plug to check oil, what weight of oil , 90 weight gear oil?? Just going over everything mechanically before its repainted.
