Gas Golf Cart Issues
A couple of days ago I took my cart out for a long hard ride. I did not even get it home before it did not even want to move anymore. On the way home it backfired a few times and would not move. I had to push it a couple blocks but I got it home after that I let it sit for a few days. After a while I went to start it again, when I put the cart in drive it will crank over and the engine will start but nothing will happen when I put my foot down not even an attempt to move the throttle will open up on it when the gas it put down but still no movement can someone help me.

Re: Gas Golf Cart Issues
What year is it? Did you check to see if you have spark or it might be run off the starter

Re: Gas Golf Cart Issues
You really need to give us more information, like the make and model number of the engine.
Here are some possibilities though. Was it running OK the last time you used it? When was that? Did you just add gas before your drive? Was the gas that you added fresh or recently purchased? If the gas is fresh then the problem is most likely dirt in the carburetor. There can be other causes, but without additional information it's difficult to guess at the cause. Charley |

Re: Gas Golf Cart Issues
Take some photos of the cart and the engine so we can see. If it is an EZGO with a two stroke engine then the backfire may have popped a crankshaft seal out.

Re: Gas Golf Cart Issues
It is hard to troubleshoot remotely but it is impossible without information.
