Cart ID Please
Looking at picking up this cart as a project and looking to get some feedback on what it is and if it is a good one to fix up a bit.
Any help is appreciated. |

Re: Cart ID Please
You've got yourself a Cushman golf cart there. I worked on an electric one once - they're HEAVY beasts! They're really cool looking carts though, and that one being gas I'd assume that it probably will move along pretty well if everything with the motor is right.
Not everyone has one of these, so that makes them awesome project carts, but the level of skill needed to upgrade one is going to be higher than say a Club Car or EZGO, simply because very few have done it. (compared to more common carts) Bottom line, if you want an easy cart to upgrade, go with Club Car or EZGO, but for something unique and very cool, this would be a great start. |

Re: Cart ID Please
Shoot! I was hoping we'd get to see a nice Cushman rebuild thread...
Oh well, there are always carts out there - Craigslist is your friend if you want a cart to upgrade, you just gotta be wary of the junk sometimes. |

Re: Cart ID Please
The problem is that everyone thinks they have gold. $1000 for a cart that runs but is rusted, needs seats, needs tires, etc is way too much. Haven't found a decent deal in 6 months that I've been looking. This one was perfect but I wasn't fast enough.

I know exactly what you're feeling, but just keep looking. You'll come across another deal someday you may like even better!
