Just Picked Up 3 Harley D Carts $300 for all
1981 Harley D
 1977 Harley D  1979 Harley D  Newby here looking forward to great help While I rebuild The 81 not sure what I am going to do with the other 2 yet |

Do you have good compression on the 81 and the other two? That looks like a good deal. You will be able to use many parts from the other two carts, regardless of the one you rebuild. Keep us members of BGW in mind when you need help and if you plan on selling off any parts from your carts, welcome.

I like the bench seat on the 81. I like to sit in the middle for better traction when I am alone.
$300 is a pretty sweet deal. For sure you can make your money back parting them out at that price. $300 each is what I have been seeing for asking prices lately which would still be a decent deal if they are mostly complete, solid, and at least close to running. |

The 81 compression was a little weak. Replacing the Rings, Crank Bearings and all the seals.

You doing the work on the motor? I'm working on my 79, might need a new motor to work with, what shape is the motor in your 79? Wanna sell?

Rebuilt the engine in the 81
rings, bearings, seals, new carb,seal kit in clutch will try to get it in tomorrow  |

Engine in runs great. boy its a pain to reach the carb adjusting screw
