Re: Help on cart top
It looks like an after market top but I will look in some parts list to see if it is HD or Columbia!

Re: Help on cart top
I checked all of the parts catalogs I have and could not find the top system. It may still be Columbia but I think it has a really good chance of being after market.

Re: Help on cart top
Still, tops for these carts are tough to come by at this point. It's worth a few bucks.
I just recovered a broken one from the dumpster at the campground last weekend. A little welding and new canvas and it'll be serviceable. |

Re: Help on cart top
What kinda money does a canvas HD top bring for these? The one that mounts front and rear and body tips up and top stays put? Canvas is still complete, the fringe is all gone..

Re: Help on cart top
I made my own since I rebuild vintage sewing machines I had the tools. The fabric is not too expensive (depends on where you get it). I'm sure sewing for that top cannot be expensive even at an upholstery shop. I did make mine without a side band or fringe. I thought fringe might be a little too much

Re: Help on cart top
Nice canvas tops can be a couple hundred bucks. Even the ratty ones get close to $100 as folks want the frames. Hence why I did some dumpster diving to get mine.
