1976 Harley dies over half throttle
1976 Harley dies over half throttle. I have completely rebuilt the engine with new crank, crank seals, bearings, gaskets, new top end and a new carburetor. Took the intake off there was gas in the bottom of the crank case. Is it possible the new carb is no good?

Check carb adj..... needle or screw on yop, screw it in till it youchs, back off 3/4 turn.

The fuel pump is probably pumping unchecked into the carb intake. There is a spring inside the pump that helps the check valve work. Check the carb diagram and check it. I think it is pumping too much fuel at high speed due to a pump problem.
