Default headlight on the tiller?

I have an extra motorcycle headlight, and it's a cool L.E.D. one, where low beam is a outline of 24 Lights, and high beam is the entire headlight lit all up about 40 lights. I would love to mount this to the front of my buggie, but I was wondering if anyone has mounted it to the tiller so the light points where you are steering like a motorcycle. I just want to avoid any unforeseen problems with this. I'd Love to see some pics! Thanks

I have two three wheelers. When I got them, one had the headlight on the tiller while the other had the headlight on the bumper. I prefer the bumper mount and changed the tiller one to a bumper mount. Don't get me wrong, each worked just fine. The tiller mount looked cool too (although I prefer the lower mount). I think in my case it was just that the tiller mount performed differently that my other carts and cars so it was more of just what I was comfortable with more than anything else.

I think each mounting method is fine. It's strictly what you want to do. For that matter, changing those around is a pretty easy task so if you don't like the tiller you can always try things on the bumper.

thank you for the reply. I have three carts, but this will be the first one with a light.

my latest light is a Harley light. whoever set it up ground a foot peg mount down so the headlight would fit on it and bolt to the fiberglass under the tiller. i loved the look but i hated the flop i used a piece of angle iron to stiffen the mount. a Harley light is bad azz on front of one of these carts. my others are led mounted in a similar area. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/album...ictureid=23719

I do like the look of the mc headlight on the cart, but i was thinking a little higher up on the cast piece, so the headlight turns when you turn the tiller.

I like a headlight on the tiller but I think it works much better if you also have at least one on the bumper pointing forward.

I installed a LITESeasy kit on my cart after removing a tiller mounted light. This kit is street legal, has turn signals and brakes lites plus a horn. Fairly bright, I also added a couple spots below for a brighter view. , the kit works great.

Will you run your power direct, with a fuse, to the battery with a separate toggle switch, or is there some way of powering through that fancy ignition key?
