HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
Does anyone know where to get,or if they even exist, Custom rims for the front wheel that match the rears? I have a 1970 HD and I want to put new rims and tires on it. Any help would be great, thanks.

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
i "think" the front rims are the same as the rest. there is a hub that is mounted on a shaft through the front forks. a standard rim bolts to that. only drawback is that you can see the "ugly" side of the rim from one side of the cart

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
The rims are the same as the others steel wheels. I believe Harley use baby moon hub caps with holes cut out for the axle on both sides of the front rim. most of the custom aluminum wheels have an off-set so you'll need to be careful not to get those type. The ones that don't have an off-set would have a not so pretty side when mounted on the front like 4vertical said. They have some nice looking hub caps that may work if there were holes cut out in the center. I'm not even sure that would work beings I have never done that before.

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
Thanks for the help. I am pretty much getting the same answer from everyone. I saw a cart that looked awesome. He must of had caps on the front that kinda matched the rears. I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen a custom front rim with two matching sides. Thanks again.

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
I have never seen a double sided rim. however some of the aluminum solid rims do look good on bioth sides. I don't know if one is available with no offset and in a 8 inch version though.

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
even with an offset rim you can adjust front axle so the rim will be centered in the forks

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
Clubby, are those offset or centered rims. What size tire do you have on there, they look great.

Re: HD 3 wheeler rims and tires
I just used the standard chrome wheels with no offset and it worked fine.
