75 Harley body hinge position

Recently bought a beat up 75 HD gas cart and needing some pictures of how and where the hinges are factory mounted.. some where along the line some one replaced the body hinges with standard (not offset) hinges and the body is not sitting correctly. I bought some used ones and want to make sure I get them installed correctly.

I don't have the body mounted right now, but I can take a pic tomorrow to show where it's mounted on the frame if you want.

Of all the pics I took of my Suzuki 440 swap this is the only one showing the hinge to frame point. Mine is an 1982 so it may be different. If the wind is not howling like a banshee tomorrow I will take some pics of the whole system.

it is the rear lower body hinges I need pics of. how they are positioned and where.

did you do a 440 swap in the Harley? can I get pics of how you set up the drive line for that? I have the original Harley motor but there is a half rigged Honda GSX 390 in it now. I had been looking for a motor with reverse like the little Lifan engines but 125cc is not going to cut it. there bigger 200cc engines do not have reverse.

I may just do a big block gx clone and rig up an electric motor for reverse.

The hinges bolt to the bottom of the rear cross member, and they are an offset hinge like the drawing at the bottom of my pics...

sweet man thank you! so this means that they bolt through the body into 2 inner braces correct? at this point these 2 braces are just floating in the wind.
