Early 70's harley golf cart prob
Hi everyone new to this site. I have a early 70's harley golf cart was starving for gas, so I put a new carb on it. So now runs good at high speed , but acts like runs out of gas when trying to go at slow speed. So any help on this prob would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Was just out messing around with it and found if I pull the choke out just a hair it runs like a top no matter how far the throttle is depressed. still think it could be the timing?

Adjust the low speed mixture screw on the carb, could be a little lean,

Re: Early 70's harley golf cart prob
Well finally got my seal having a problem getting the outer cover off my clutch. Three nuts are off and can't get it to budge. Anyone know of a video ? can't seem to find one on the web.Or any suggestions?

Outer clutch cover: I have seen it written that compressed air injected into the filler hole is a method that works. Be safe and don't get hit in the head if it comes off quickly. I have not tried this myself so perhaps others can/will chime in.
Good luck. |
