1969 Utilicar rubber brake line?

I am redoing the brake system on my 1969 Utilicar with a new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new shoes, new springs and new hardware from Vintage Golf Car Parts. I’m also going to make all new hard lines with coated lines and fittings from the local auto parts warehouse. The part that has me stumped is the rubber flex line at the rear suspension pivot. Does anyone sell those? If not, does anyone know of a standard automotive part that will fit? Otherwise, I guess I’m left with having one made locally.

You are the rare few that has a harley cart hydraulic brake system. I know of one other utilicar.

Thanks! The one I downloaded didn’t show any of the brake lines. On the plus side, I found a local shop that custom fabs stainless and rubber brake lines.

Here you go. I see the rubber line but it doesn’t give much other than a part number.

Nice! Thank you! Looks like that 83571-51 hose was used on the Harley Servicar too. Found one vendor selling them for $40.

Around $70 later I have all new hard and rubber lines from my local industrial hose supply shop. They did a great job and it’s always nice to shop local.

That’s great. Yeah I have a corvair with air conditioning and make the lines for the compressor locally. That’s just what you have to do when you mess with old obscure stuff like this. But in the end you know it’s right and fun as crap
