retaining ring
I have lost all mu retaining rings that hold in the oil seal on the clutch side of the crankcase. It is either 2 inch or 2 1/16 inches. I could use 4 so I don't want to double order. I think a 2 inch internal ring will work but I'm not sure.

Re: retaining ring
Tew, are you asking for the size and/or dimensions?
I cannot help with that as not near a torn down engine. Just thought i'd clarify the need. Good luck and I'm quite certain that someone will have both a calliper tool and snap ring and report back. |

Re: retaining ring
I think I just need the ordering size of the Internal o-ring that holds in the oil seal (or at least helps it stay in) I found an old ring but it measures between 2 inch and 2 1/16 inch (measures 2.032) so I expect it may be the 2.063 ring but I am still not sure. I really think either would work just fine. I just wanted to be sure. I have a couple of extra engines I am trying to complete but I think it is a futile project and should hold the parts for forum members.
