The edges need cleaned up. Basically is it worth fixing? It needs the bushing replaced which I already have. Would you use or buy it for use?

At this point with how hard they are to get, I would get new rollers, hub bushing and run with it. Keep on the look out for harleys in your area, its usually cheaper to get a whole cart for parts then one of those on evilbay.

Agreed, I think these things are pretty tough, (and had lots of small casting flaws to begin with). What you have is of course similar to the earlier version which I am familiar with on the Topper scooter. I run one that has a crack through a portion of the casting disk. As long as it doesn't show an edge to the belt I'm fine with it. Over 500 miles since I've owned it. I bet that correlates to a lot of golf car time.
So as long as it doesn't have any worn grooves (>1/32") or sharp edges in the belt riding area and the nylon cams attach firmly and have a solid landing on the other side, I'd say you're good to go.
PS. Don't forget to stake your new bushing in place per the service manual!

I had to sell my HD and this was left behind. I have no use for it and thought I should get some opinions about its condition before I figure out what to do with it. I does need new rollers but the ramps look ok. vintage golf cart parts has the rollers and I do have a bushing for it.

Would Anyone be interested in it? I also have a set of brake linings that would go with it.

That is a 67-81 style. It is a late 70's I believe but can fit all years between.

The later manual has you use loctite to secure the bushing rather than staking it. To stake, the old service manual says to do it in 3 spots. Staking is disrupting the edge of the receiving parts bearing surface next to the bushing with a steel punch to create a mechanical interference between the bushing and the receiving parts mating surface , so as to prevent the bushing from moving after installation.
Either will work. See http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/colum...63_1980_GS.pdf
Section 4-7 for the factory instructions.

I'll probably go the loctite route
