can anyone tell me what yr they went to steering wheel from a bar ?

They co-existed along with 3 & 4 wheel carts with steering wheel for some period of time.

You have to have the whole assembly. The wheel went to a steering box which had a arm to the front wheel yolk. If you happen to find a cart with the assembly on it thats your best bet. Sadly I had one but my brother decided it needed to be hauled off to scrap.

Yes, it's called keep checking CraigsList until you see a garage Harley with a steering wheel. A whole new cart will be much cheaper / easier than trying to convert.
