82 Harley won't start
I have a 82 three wheel . It was running and it died and wouldn't start. I've replaced the plug and carb . When I spray carb cleaner it still won't start. I'm stumped . I have put gas in cylinder and still won't start

Re: 82 Harley won't start
Check your reed valve. If you have enough compression, fuel and a spark the reed vakve could be missing a leaf.

You don,t mention if you have spark at the plug, until you know that diagnoses is impossible,

A compression check is in order. Should be 90+.

Re: 82 Harley won't start
I agree totally with LOCHLIN. 90+ is ideal. the cart should run on 80 and sometimes on 70 but below 70 there is no way. Check for worn out or trashed rings.
