Harley Davidson Cart Starter Generator Diagram
Looking for the correct Diagram for the starter generator on a harley davidson golf cart.

I am not aware of seeing a specific wiring diagram for those. That said, there are very specific parts schematics located here and starting on page 5-31:
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/colum...63_1980_GS.pdf Those starters are very common and pretty much the same as any starter / generator. If you google "hitachi starter / generator wiring diagram" you will probably find what you need. If you happen to have some issues with yours, it might be easiest to take it to someone for servicing. Any alternator shop will be able to work on it. Parts for those are still widely available. |

From what I can tell the cart is a 73, I have connected the wires as shown in the diagram, but I still have two smaller wires that I am still unsure where they go.

If its a 73, looks like you should follow the wiring diagram for 72-74 that johnny reb posted above.
What does your serial tag tell you in regard to model and year? |

the id tag is located above the rear axle on the frame next to where the coil spring is. lets see vintage golf carts has a pdf
