75 harley fuel line locations help!

Brand new project for me, first time harley guy, but love the look of this cart way better than the new ones. Love this forum have found so much great info. Picked up this non-runner and found dead cylinder (shocking i know) Got it running (sort of) with a good hone and ring job until the new cyl kit comes in. The question i have, I have TWO fuel lines out of the tank, but only one line i can find on the carb. Can someone please help where they both go

My tank looks to have a return hole (two holes in the tank) thats why i am asking, also sub note— does anyone have part numbers etc on a points conversion for this engine?

There should only be one fuel line coming from your tank. Some of those carbs had overflow tubes that allowed fuel to discharge to the ground. Some people routed that line back to the tank which looks it may have been the case in your cart. Personally, I would delete the extra line and plug the extra tank hole.

The other hole is for the vent so you won`t suck the tank to collapse.
