Inlet Seat Socket????
i am wondering where you can find a 5/16th socket small enough to get the inlet seat out of the carbs.. im waiting on a carb kit and when it comes i need to have one small enough to put the inlet seast back in.. we have several 5/16 sockets just none thin enough to fit in the hole where the inlet seat goes.. we had to hammer a small bolt extractor in the old inlet seat in order to get it out.... do you need a special socket set (thinner walls on the socket to squeeze into tight holes)?? if your not sure what im refering to when i say inlet seat scroll 1/4 the way down this page http://www.arboristsite.com/showthread.php?t=64450 where it shows him removing it....

Re: Inlet Seat Socket????
My 1/4 drive socket set is made by Thornsen. I'm able to use these with no problem.

Re: Inlet Seat Socket????
If you can't find a brand of socket thin enough, I have had to purchase a 1/4 inch drive deep well socket and grind the outside down until it fit.
