Default new HD 3 wheeler owner questions

got a 72 3 wheeler...runs great!! cosmetics OK...gonna use it pull fuel altered back to the pits at the dragstrip...couple of questions:

1) I know the primary clutch is "wet"..but mine has a 1" hole in the center (where the governor plate rubs against)...found a rubber plug that fits...also found the small hole for filling the 90wt ...bets way to get the 90wt in thru that lil hole?

2) can the front tubular bumper be removed...see lots of custom HD carts ALL have the bumper in place??

3) although it runs great...can it be re powered down the road ..and with what?

thanks

Default Re: new HD 3 wheeler owner questions

if standing behind the cart looking at the primary put the fill hole @ the seven o:clock position. If you get oil coming out you are ok. if you have to fill the best way I have found is to use a small squeeze bottle. I use a small Plochmans mustard bottle work great. You can remove the front bumper but just remember this is what stops you from being able to tip your cart over.
Might not be a real good idea to remove it.
