Default Need pic of battery tray for 69D

Restoring 69D cart. Previous owner had installed a battery tray made of bolted 1.25" angle iron and bolted to rear frame. It was mounted to the passanger side. I think it came from the factory with a tray in the center, although not certain. There is a metal support bracket welded in the center of rear frame, I suspect factory. Wish to fabricate a new one and put it back in factory location. A pic would be very helpful!!

Thanks,

Dan

I think the 69's had the long rectangle battery box. Alot of the ones I see have been cut out and changed over to fit the car batteries. I don't think I have any of the old shool here I'll look and see . if I do I'll take a pic so you can see what was in there.

Thanks Craig! Looks much different than I though it would. The battery shown in your pics is long and narrow. I do not think there was an actual tray. The angle of the factory frame was fabricated to hold that specific battery. When I got the cart it had a car battery. I will weld/fabricate a tray to accomadate a group 24 battery.

Again, thanks!

FYI, just finished sand blast yesterday, prime and paint this morning. Looking GOOD. Will post some pics!!
