Default WTB generator brushes for HD 1972 D model

Looks like I need 2 brushes for my Bosch starter/gen. as they are cracked. Anyone have 2 or more for sale. Anyone know a source for them? thanks Mike

Yes my generator needed brushes and much more. I took it a automotive electric shop and they would rebuild it for $125. I said "do it". Got a call and they said it was pretty much all bad. I lucked out and found a use one on ebay for $75. They told me they could get me a hitachi for $175 new. Good news is that I am back and running with the generator charging the battery as its suppose to.

I spent $150 to have my Hitachi redone was gonna be $100 til they got into it and found 2 of the 4 field coils fried. No wonder it would not even try to go in "reverse".

there are 3 brands that were used interchangeably on these, Hitachi Bosh and I forget the 3rd one (nippondenso maybe?) IDK if the 3 are interchangeable; just from what I have seen listed on FeeBay and in online catalogs.
