Wheels for 68' D Cart
Finally getting back to completing the 68' restoration I started, and posted, many many months ago. Too much work in very little time. Simply burned out on the project!!
I need wheels & tires. Keep seeing reference to "off-set". Anyone know what this means? Am looking for front wheels and a set of rear wheels. Are they the same for both front & rear? Currently have saw tooth front and turf's on the rear. Should all tire tread patterns match? or does it matter? Thought is that maybe saw tooth is smoother up front than turf. Plan is black wheels with hub caps, drilling out center for front axle. Any suggustions here appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Wheels for 68' D Cart
Hey, DOOmsman; 1st post here; was told about the site by a neighbor who's a member here, (Tonka329) Youre in Reddick? Can't miss it along rt.17..... blink and miss it! Same school district as me anyway... I'm on the other end here in Limestone.... What might you have around for the 70s Harley 3 wheel gas carts? I have one here now and will have 2 in a week after a trip to freeport (Feebay purchase) I wanted to PM you but I must be blind I didn't see a prompt.
