Default Exhaust Exit Change

We use the Harley for transport around antique farm machinery shows. Lots of the time we are running on crushed stone or dirt. The muffer exits straight down on this cart which stirs up the dust a bunch. Has anyone tried to change how the exhaust exits from the bottom of the cart? How did you do it?
