Rebuild my harley drive clutch
Does the drive clutch have many parts? And do you need special tools?also can I get parts? Will the o ring be wrecked if I pull it apart? Thanks for any input. Rube.

Re: Rebuild my harley drive clutch
Parts are still available.
working on the drive clutch I like removing the motor from the cart it makes things much easier. As long as the clutch is apart I'd replace the o-ring. you will need a new felt seal. It's the guides and stops that get expensive. |

Re: Rebuild my harley drive clutch
I did mine twice had trouble keeping oil in it the first time of course that played heck on the drive belt. Second time I assembled it with a little yamabond on the o ring end of problem. They really are a simple yet effctive clutch. Let me know if you need some of the internals i think i still have a parts bucket in the attic
