Default '75D clutch problem

Hi Everyone!

Well, my winter rebuild project turned out 100%. I am very happy with the results on the engine.

However.. . . during the break in runs, the clutch came off and was spinning like a top on the ground. So now, I am wondering if I left out a part or re-installed wrong. I have a feeling it was the drive shaft washer with the four ears that only had two and I failed to bend them snug against the bolt.

The needle bearing roller has one end that looks as if it might need some type of a washer or spacer. How do the needle bearing get lube? I didn't see anything in the service manual for that year. Should the race have lock tight? Should the shaft bolt have lock tight or does the eared washer keep it in place?

Thanks for any comments

yes you need to install the lock washer. bend to of the tabs up and this will hold the nut on.
