74 hd cart will not start
Hi I just bought a 74 hd cart. It has a rebuilt engine 120 psi. it had been sitting a few years. gas was disconnected. I put new gas in, new plug, new plug wire, new battery. now it turns over but will not fire. will not fire when gas dropped into cylinder. any help would be great. thanks

muffler off. still 120 psi with muffler off. still no start. clean points, has spark enough for a shock could the coil be bad? I have old compression tester gauge may not be 100% right.

Re: 74 hd cart will not start
Remove air cleaner and spray gas into carb instead of pulling plug. you should be able to keep it running by doing it this way.
