carb issues
i have a 1974 gasser that has been rebuilt,ran for a few days and now it just seems to be flooding (gas will come out of head gasket or exhaust)
i have another motor but seems to be different carb (Seddement bowl) on it is this a newer model engine and is there a picture any where on the net on how carb and air filter is mounted? |

The fuel pump is working well! There is a check valve in the carb that prevents this. You probably have a HL series tillotson carb and there is a great site on the net explaining the working system. Google Tillotson HL carb. for the site!
