Default flywheel puller ---- cant get flywheel off!

It seems that one thing leads to another or one problem leads to an even larger problem! Trying to get this 76 motor apart to get a bad crank out and NOW I cant get the flywheel off. I have been reading posts and see that Tew made his own and wondered if he had any to sell or would rent it out so I could use it? OR does anyone else have any other ideas on how to get this flywheel off, it has never been off before so on good for 36 years!

I recently removed a long time installed flywheel from my 76. I used a modified Pitman arm puller that cost less than $15.00. I have air and tools which helped to cut the arms to the proper length. There is a post on this site from someone else. Good luck.

If it has threaded holes across from each other outside of the crankshaft, use a steering-wheel puller.Get it good and tight on the draw-screw,then usually one good whack with a hammer will pop it,unless you have an Impact-Gun,then just burp it a few times, and it should pop easily.Hope this helps.

Finally got it off with the help of the pitman arm puller suggestion, modified it and it popped it off, Thanks everyone! Now on to the next problem!
