Default Micro switch

Hey folks, I hate to be a pest but I need an accelerator micro switch for my personal cart. The grand kids broke my fuel cover off and while I was looking for a piece of sheet aluminum to fabricate another the little f--ts some how broke the switch and now I am missing both. I used a commercial NC push button switch but it was over 50 years old and intermittent. I also have a friends Yamaha G9 that had a fire in the air box I am trying to find parts for. I have been cutting fire wood for winter and haven't had time to work on much.
I need to break free and do some machine work also. I have 2 timing stops left for the HD/Columbia if any one does enough work to need one! Sorry about the ramble but I could use the help. I also replaced the clutch cover "O" ring and the old one leaked. It was a new one and it did not seal. I bought 2 new ones a month age and misplaced them but found them yesterday. The old ring (previously new) was not chipped or damaged but did not work. So a heads up on some o-rings do not work well and the clutch does not work well without 90wt so be aware. There are some 0-rings out there that do not work well!

Tony,
It's not just the o-rings. Iv'e been having so much trouble getting parts lately that I'm ready to stop taking in repairs. I took in two carts two months ago for top ends and there still here today.should have been a two wk turn around.
when I do a top I also require the carb and both clutches to be checked over. I'm not going to build a motor just to have a bad carb or clutch take it out.
what I've been getting for parts is just terrible.
like you said O-rings don't seal, the rings that are with the pistons are bad. wrist pin bearings so cheap you can't press them in without damage. head gaskets that the bolt hole are not centered with the cylinder opening. If my carb kit doesn't say tilletson on the package I don't want it.
Points, I'm not even going to start on this subject.
It's not just one supplier, they all get most there stuff from the same place.
it's more the country it's coming from.
good thing my pizza is done or I'd be going on for awhile
later Craig

The last top end was made in India but it did work with a little adjustment. The ring set seemed to be .005 oversize. I have been buying piston and ring sets and honing the cylinders to fit. My hone is so old and there are no replacement parts so that won't last long. The HD carts are drying up around here so I probably won't be doing but a very few any more. I maintain some old Yamaha G2 to G9's but they are not going to last either. It looks like I may be going back to Indian cycles. They won't make me any money but I will have sonething to work on.

ohh can you send me a packeage tony? just send a invoice with t! i could use a muffler and tail pipe for the 69. it plug and even the 10 or so 3/4 holes that were drilled in the bottom are filled! but i have a feeling you are going to tell me to get it offline or call a place in indiania! this muffler was so bad, they cut the ends off, saw how bad it was, welded the ends back on and drilled 10 or so holes on the bottom. they even welded a little nipple in the bottom frame, and connected the tail pipe to it, so it would have dual exhaulst!

There is a golf cart place in Alabama that has used parts. It is Alabama golf cart parts 1-800-262-6861. I used them a lot until they made a mistake I had to pay for. There are two mufflers on E-bay now. One is garbage and the other is new for $95.00 plus $18.00 freight. Seems like an OK deal. For my cart I would build one and try for a unique sound.
