Forward/Reverse setup
Has anyone tried one of the reversing relays from Surplus Center? If their relay works only one would be used and the wiring would be easy for anyone to do. They have a 100 amp relay for $42.00 plus shipping and a 150 amp at $46.00 plus shipping. They want to charge $11.99 shipping. (they don't know about the flat rate box or don't care). And it may not fit in the box.
I think I will try one when I have to change the switch. Look at the diagram on their site and check me out. I would ground the one terminal they show as ground and the one to the battery I would wire to F1. Then A1 and A2 to the other two terminals. A toggle switch for reverse and forward (SPDT) would finish the installation. Let me know what you think! |
