Air/fuel mixture at carburetor
My new Tillotson is now installed but the carb is not adjusted correctley.I need to send less fuel into the motor and more air. Is the adjustment marked with a letter " L " on the top side of the carb.If this is the correct adjustment- does it go clockwise for less fuel?

Re: Air/fuel mixture at carburetor
That is correct. Turn it clockwise until it stops then turn counterclock wise 3/4 turns. It should run at that setting. If you need more fuel, turn to the left, less fuel turn right.

Re: Air/fuel mixture at carburetor
There is a dedicated EZGo section to the forum so you probably want to post this there. Those guys will need the year of your cart when posting.
If you have an older cart it probably has a Mikuni carb on it. Those only have one adjustment screw on them. Clockwise gets you less fuel counterclockwise gets you more. |
