Micro Switch
Can I just bypass the micro switch under my gas pedal of my 69HD? Trying to trouble shoot an electric issue and want to rule out a bad switch.
Drove my cart all weekend at the World Cycle Cross Championships in Louisville a few months ago and EVERYTHING got muddy. I now have an electrical issue somewhere but very fun weekend, made 100 bucks driving folks around. Thanks as always |

Re: Micro Switch
Not sure on an older HD but I would jack it up on
stands and use two jumper wires. Hook each one to a terminal and then touch the two wires to each other. That way you won't run over your head if it does start. |

Re: Micro Switch
DITTO on the jack stands.
Bypass is possible for the switch as when wires connected together is the same as the switch being closed. Jack stands or jack up one wheel. Bypass for diagnostics only. Good luck! |
