Throttle stop for kids
Gas HD 1976, Has anyone put a throttle stop on the cart to keep the speed down. Mine does not have the governor parts on it just the cable from the foot pedal to the carburetor butterfly. Maybe something as simple as a block of wood under the pedal but I was wondering if there is a better way.
Thanks, Mike |

Re: Throttle stop for kids
Without the governor that is about it or just adjust the throttle cable to not open all the way but that is if the cart is for the kids only!

Re: Throttle stop for kids
Drill a hole through the floor board behind the pedal and use a bolt.

Re: Throttle stop for kids
Instead of drilling a hole in your floor, velcro a 2x4 or smaller piece of wood to the floor to act as a stop but also be quick removal for adults to drive.
