starter
My buddy want to put bigger engine on his 79 harley cart. But he thinks the starter thats on there now will be powerful enough to make cart reverse. Is there anyway to make this work.

Re: starter
Guess it depends on the clutch system for the newer engine. If using a standard variable clutch working correctly the starter won't turn fast enough to roll the car. If using a starter motor in conjunction with an additional belt on the final drive clutch i could see the possibility. The original starter wouldn't be my first choice as it is kind of wimpy.
