Default Stiffer ride.

has anyone used a aftermarket shock. Making seat for the back and towing with it. Want it a little stiffer.

Are you sure you need it? I just replaced the shock on my cart, while give the entire cart a make over, found a new OEM shock . I have had a couple adults in the back of my cart on a few long rides , doesn't have any seats in the back, but it sure seemed to handle just fine, no bottoming out issues at all. What are you hauling boat trailer, etc?

I know the shock now is bad it bottoms out. This is what I'm towing with it.

Does anyone make an air shock or air bags that would fit? That way you could fill it up when needed but not ruin the empty ride.

here's a link to vintage:
vintagegolfcartparts.com/cgi-bin/ccp5/cp-app.cgi?usr=50X8845928&rnd=1592400&rrc=N&cip=97.83 .6.31&pg=ste_cat&startrow=30&searchstr=&searchrpp= 30&ref=harley_davidson_steering&cat=

I purchased the shock on this page Part # st105, It sure stiffened up the back of my cart. I'm sure if the length and the stud holes are the same, and it doesn't have a spring wrapped around it and it clears the frame, you should be able to mount it in your cart.

Ouch, I believe they were a sponsor at one time on BGW, that's how I found them. I'll have to do better checking on sponsors before posting links. Thanks for the heads up Rib.
