Default G9 Pulsar Coil HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Can someone please tell me why the ground wire for the pulsar coil keeps smoking when I apply the pedal. I also have no spark. I know I keep reading about ground connections but I have messed with every wire possible. I even made a new connection for the ground wire for for the pulsar wire by-passing the plastic factory connector. Someone please respond asap.
I noticed that when its not connected the cart will turn over without any smoking of the wires. NOTE: Its a brand new pulsar coil.

Wish i could be more help, i think the fault is in the wiring harness or ignitor box, not pulser (these very rarely fail anyway). Heres a manual with wiring diagram. Try cranking it with pulser plugged in, but ignitor box unplugged.

Follow the ground battery cable and every little wire hooked on it, make sure they are all good. Make sure if a ground is in with the cable its got a good connection. Most end up replacing the connectors on the start relay. Check the ground fuse and positive one and the holders. Best thing you can do is test the grounds, then test under load. If a ground turns hot you have a bad connection. Wiring issue are common with these at this age, but cheap to fix at least. You can also jumper another ground to your ignitor/etc for testing to ensure you have ground there. Some just put one on there anyway.
