brighter headlights???
I hate the bulbs in my headlight kit. Their 889 and very dim and yellow and really look bad with my led lights on. Any suggestiins on an upgrade? Found these 2 so far, opinions?

Re: brighter headlights???
What headlight kit do you have? I think most non-led use a 55w H3 halogen...

Re: brighter headlights???
Whatever you do don't use a higher wattage bulb. The wire harness will likely melt and short out, maybe cause a fire. I've seen that one before.
What about an led conversion? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-of-881-...p2054897.l4275 I'm sure there's others available, this was the first that came up in a quick google. |

Re: brighter headlights???
Its a 889 bulb. That led is nice but too high in watts. Thats why I like the led I posted plus their cheaper.

Re: brighter headlights???
I know that listing says 50w, but the rating must be deceptive. I built 2 true 30w 6-led lightbars (driven to nearly 5w each led). They were on aluminum heatsinks that get very warm. I see no possible way those lamps listed would not overheat & die (LEDs are very sensetive to temperature changes and high temps, especially when used near their wattage limits).

Re: brighter headlights???
The Amazon link doesn't work. I saw the second one but didn't read about it further, in the heading it says "Xenon" so I thought they weren't LED. Looks very similar. Most led's are made in China now, unfortunately you just never know what you will get. It's a gamble. I prefer Ebay since I have some level of recourse if things go wrong. I have never gotten burned yet, although I am pretty careful when purchasing. Never used Aliexpress.

Re: brighter headlights???
Im gonna give them a shot. I like that their only 11 watts but the front led is 5 watt. Will be brighter than what I got now anyway and to be honest I just want them to match my off road leds.
